You are a good pet parent. Whenever possible you take Fido out for a long walk, you feed him the best kibble or wet food money can buy, and you keep his or her fur brushed and matt free.

Fido seems to appreciate it, giving you loving licks on the cheeks or nose and often bringing you his favorite toy to show his affection.

You think everything is fine. Then, one day, you see him snoozing on the sofa and when you call “Time for a walk!” he does not seem as peppy as usual.
