Summer can be a great time of year, but when the temperatures reach over 90 or 100 degrees it can also be a hard time for our beloved pets! Undoubtedly they will love running about, enjoying summertime activities in the park with their human BFFs but, when it comes time to get in the car, they will be even more miserable than you.

That car is going to be HOT and while it’s barely tolerable for a human being just think about your poor dog – wearing a fur coat! It’s an awesome natural gift for the winter, but summer is for water hoses and shade!

If you must have your pet in the car and leave them, please do it in the morning hours, before it gets too warm. Any later and Fido might end up being a fatal statistic!
