The Best Way to Greet a Dog May Surprise a Doggie Owner

As human beings, we are pretty much wired to nurture. Often, we treat out fur-babies like our own children. It’s all a part of the domestication of our beloved canines.

But, if you really think about it, although a dog loves the pampering, they are wired to live in a pack. They would not necessarily get the love and attention from their dog-brethren in the wild that they would get from their human Mom and Dad.

Having said that, because of this domestication, our pooches expect a certain amount of loving from their pack leaders – or Mom and Dad.

But what happens when we do not show it?

Greeting your dog after being away after having a good time away is more important than you might suspect. Every time they see you, they likely will look forward to you petting them and spoiling them with sweet words because they know it’s from you and meant for them. This is not just supposition.
