Often a puppy just needs to see Mom, to be wrapped up in her warm embrace, to nurse and experience a closeness with the doggy that gave him or her life. It is a lovely thing!
The only problem comes when you have a litter of brothers and sisters that also want all of Mom’s attention!
Sometimes she just does not have all the time and energy she would like to have with you. The worst part is when you are uncertain when the best time is to make your move. There always seems to be another puppy that gets there first!
