His owner states that poor George nearly died twice because of his grief over the demised Blackie. It is a terrible story of grief but one with a happy ending. George discovered he could love again, his new companion being unlike any friend he’d ever had before!
Could George have found friendship with another animal, another dog for example? Possibly, but it says a lot about him that he found a connection with a member of the fowl family! No preconceived prejudices, no anger issues, just an odd form of communication and a connection that appears to make both this canine and duck very happy.
What did they “talk” about as they walk together? Probably the same things as you or I. We wish both the best of luck in their new found friendship!
