Animal rescuers, even when trained and ready for anything, often do know what to expect when they approach stray dogs. Some are friendly and others are scared and act out.
However, the toughest to deal with are often the female dogs with puppies. Naturally enough, the female Momma dog is very protective and will fight anyone, with good intentions or not, that approaches her pups!
Some might say, why not just leave them alone? Not a good idea. As well intentioned as a Momma dog is they often have their puppies in unsafe areas that can hurt them. As in the case of a loving Momma and Daddy pooch who was taking care of their puppies in an old abandoned house.
To say the rescue was stressful is an understatement!
The video on the next page is a testament to those wonderful hero rescuers, the love of a family of dogs, and the videographers out there that show us all that our faith in humanity should not be ridiculed!
