We are all for disciplining your pup, especially when he or she has done something especially bad. After all, how is a doggie going to learn if you do no show him the error of his ways?
Of course, we never want to see a pooch treated cruelly. RE: Spanked or having their nose rubbed in poo. However, if the occasional “Bad dog!’ with a finger wave is appropriate, just do it. Often a stern: “No.” works well too.
Unfortunately, we have a Pug pup on the next page who find himself in trouble and is verbally punished for his error.
