What Does it Mean if a Pooch Has Eye Boogers?

If you have a good outdoor dog, the type that enjoys romping in the backyard more than sitting in the living room with you as you watch TV or read a book, you will notice eye secretions a plenty. It seems very natural.

There are a lot of things out there, after all. Pollen alone is enough to make our eyes water so why not Rovers?

Hey, even inside dogs are not exempt from “eye boogers” but we take them in stride and wipe the ickiness away. It is all a part of being a pooch and a pup parent, right?

Sadly, there can be more serious problems. If you notice far more discharge than normal – and you may want to ask around about what normal is – than it could very well be time to check with Rover’s veterinarian.
