Every pup has an unsettled stomach once in a while, which can lead to occasional diarrhea. An upset stomach may be caused by your doggy eating another dog's poop (you know it happens!) or eating something else he wasn't supposed to. This is completely normal, as long as it doesn't continue.
If your dog begins to have diarrhea consistently all day long then that's a whole other story. Critical signs include blood in your pooch's poop, or your pup vomiting as well. If this happens get your pooch to the vet asap!
