When a Doggy Does THIS, He’s Telling His Human NOT to Trust This Person

Even though dogs can't speak our language, we know they're intelligent, particularly when it comes to using their senses. Both their ears and nose give them a powerful advantage over us. It gets us thinking: What else can dogs sense that we, as humans, can't?

Since dogs can't tell us exactly what they're sensing, we have to watch their behavior as an indicator of how they feel toward something or someone. Unfortunately, sometimes we write off barking, growling or unusual behavior as our dogs being overly sensitive or having a bad day.

However, there are times we must heed their advice, especially if our dogs are meeting a human for the first time.

When my dog first met a friend of mine, he suddenly went off-script and started barking and snarling incessantly. He's usually such a calm and laidback guy. We can rule out the behavior as overprotective because he wasn't in his home when he met my friend. I thought it was strange, but made some excuse for it. Instead, he turned out to be right. That friend turned out to be someone I needed to stay away from for more than one reason. He had it right all along!

Maybe dogs are man's best friend because they compensate for our lack of senses. They can learn a lot of information about the environment around us so it's important to pay attention to your dog when they're acting out of character.

Continue on to learn when your dog is telling you not to trust another human! Wait until you hear another person's story!
