Detroit has made a huge stride towards making things better for doggies. This city is far too familiar with cases of abused dogs and other accidents that occur when owners chain their pets up.
Oftentimes, they can get tangled, knock over their food and water, are unable to run away from a predator or get protection from scorching temperatures when they're attached to a chain.
With this new ordinance, dog owners will no longer be allowed to chain up their pooches.
