We know better than to feed the dog off the dinner table. We also know we should keep Fido on a rigid diet; breakfast, lunch and dinner, including plenty of fresh water.
But, let’s face it, it is almost as fun for us as it is for our pups to pull out the snacks and give them a treat. Fido and Spot like it, feeling pampered, and we like it because we feel we are doing something kind and generous for our doggy.
There really is nothing wrong with it as long as it's done in moderation. However, it is when we get carried away that our dog suffers. We really should not feed the pooch human food … at least not until we are certain it can cause no harm.
