When our dog is down in the dumps, suffering from anything from indigestion to diarrhea, we will often take him to a vet. Once there they will either give our best friend an injection or a prescription for medication. We don’t really know what is in the pill or capsule, even though the vet will try to explain it to us, but it seems to work well enough so we nod and say “thank you.”
