In Brazil, there are an estimated 30 million homeless animals, and 7 million entering animal shelters every year. However barely half of these animals are adopted, and tragically the rest are euthanized. These are healthy, sweet pets who would have made great companions.
Yet even with such high numbers of pets available for adoption, consumers still patronize pet stores, so the Priceless Pets project decided to learn what would happen if they replaced the purebred dogs with rescues.
