With divorce being a common thing in our time, it's often forgotten how many lives it can affect. Children of divorce are not the only ones that struggle with separation and custody battles. Dogs and other pets, unfortunately, have to deal with adjustment as well.

Custody battles ensue for not only children but the family's pets. It's heartbreaking to have to separate from a routine but it's something that's happening with such high rates of divorce.
