Faith, the puppy from Turkey that refused to give up, is an inspiration to all. She was in horrible condition when Mary and her children took her home to live out her last hours or days but she surprised everyone!
Eighty percent of the puppies that have distemper, those that reach the neurological stage like Faith, die quickly. That is merely a statement of fact but Faith is a little miracle!
She has recovered and now, nearly three years into their lives together, Mary and her girls say that Faith is healthy and happy. The dog who could barely walk at one time is now running and as content as any dog has a right to be!
It is amazing what a little attention, love, and animal healthcare can do. Faith is a prime example of this and her name says it all!
