Research from the University of Texas has found that dog people were generally about 15% more extraverted, 13% more agreeable and 11% more conscientious than cat people.2) Dog people are less open than cat owners

Social psychologist Jonathan Haidt has found that Liberals want dogs that ‘are gentle and relate to their owners as equals'. Conservatives, on the other hand, ‘want dogs that are loyal and obedient'.
