Puppies want to play. Nothing new or revolutionary about that. They play, eat, poop, and sleep for at least the first few months of their lives.
But eventually, we need to start teaching them things to create harmony in the household and – well – to basically have them earn their way. Yes, even a puppy can have chores!
What you have them do is up to you. Eventually, they may become a terrific guard dog, patrolling the outside and inside of your home, making certain no one is coming to harm. Still, as a puppy, they need to start small then get bigger and better as they grow.
On the next page, we have a sweet and persistent puppy. He has a chore and refuses to give it up until he’s successful. Daddy helps him a little but it is up to sweet Gracie to do what she has been taught!
