It is most definitely an internal struggle! That haze that comes over your brain, which then causes your thoughts to wander and soon all consciousness will leave your body. If you’re already lying down you are in an excellent position for that sweet moment of slumber.
However, if you are standing or resting on a sofa arm – you better watch out because you might get hurt if you fall in the wrong direction! Thump! However, a dog may or may not be able to catch himself in the nick of time depending on where he's falling asleep.
Let’s hope if you are a human you’re smart enough not to be standing or resting against the arm of a sofa when you fall asleep! Haha! Now that would seriously hurt!
Now, picture a compilation of some really cute pooches unable to help themselves; there they are, unable to stop themselves from falling asleep.
Oh, they try and a few, after taking a tumble, seem to be fully awake again but it’s a struggle!
