Men and women take their jobs very seriously. They leave first thing in the morning, work all day, then come home at night to the spouse and kids. But their job does not end there. They need to spend time with their family members, including the family dog!
This is what having a family is all about, after all! You can talk with the kids, help them do their homework, and you and the spouse can also talk and spend some alone time together. But it’s the family dog that usually gets the brush off. It’s not intentional but after a full day the poor beastie is sadly an after-thought.
However, there are always the kids playing during the day and a few games of fetch, in the evening, and most pooches are appeased. Then there are the puppies. Thy may sleep a lot but when they are awake they want the undivided attention of every member of the family!
