We've all been there. We've found ourselves once again wrestling with our pup as bath time begins. We may even have to chase them around the house until we're dizzy and out of breath. Our dogs know how to wear us out! They hope we'll eventually just give up on their hygiene routine.

While my dog and I have certainly had moments when we've played a game of cat and mouse before bath time, I'm lucky most of the time. My furbaby concedes almost immediately when he hears the water running. He tucks his tail under and slowly, but surely, makes his way over to me. I reward him handsomely for that!

However, there are plenty of dogs who will hilariously fight tooth and nail to avoid being prodded by brushes, Q-tips and other cleaning utensils.

Since it's not always the easiest task to get our dogs to sit still, once we do get them to settle down, it's crucial to know how to make the most of it. We have to know how to properly clean certain areas. For example, a pug's ears are particularly important to maintain since they're a cute, droopy shape.

It'll give you peace of mind knowing you're doing everything you can to keep your pup in good shape. They might not admit it, but our dogs feel better, too!
