The Secret Behind Pooch Butt Dragging Revealed

When our butt hurts we can do something about it. We can head to the bathroom and find out what's up! A doggy, however, has a harder time healing their butt problems and may even rub their butt on the carpet, ground, or grass. This funny doggy maneuver may seem funny to us, but it's not only uncomfortable for Fido and he's trying to tell you something.

Occasionally your pooch may get constipated and may do this. As long as he isn't doing it all of the time it's completely normal. However, if he does start rubbing his butt on the ground consistently you have a problem. A few explanations may mean she's suffering from anal sack problems, has worms or in a worse case scenario has a rectal prolapse.

Whatever the case may be, your vet can tell you more. Don't wait to take Fido to the vet — it's important to get something like this treated before it gets worse.
