If you have nice carpets in your home and you're about to bring a little puppy into your house, you better be prepared for a few accidents! Luckily you can try to prevent accidents by puppy-proofing your home and getting it ready for your pup to arrive.
Your pooch is going to be a lot of work, but she'll be worth it. Keep in mind that puppy-proofing won't happen overnight. As you observe your puppy in her new home you'll soon see what she likes. If she goes after your furniture then you'll have to figure out ways to keep her away.
Other ways to get her used to you and your family is by making her feel at home. Make sure she has all fo the food and bedding necessary and find her a recommended vet in your area.
