The Most Common “Bad” Behaviors in Dogs and How to Improve Them

From the moment you bring a new doggy into your home you're teaching him what is and isn't acceptable. From the very beginning, puppies learn what's wrong behavior in your home, but that doesn't mean they'll try to test your patience. If your pooch does develop inappropriate behaviors along the way, it doesn't necessarily mean you're at fault. It just means you'll need to try new techniques to get her to listen better.

Be diligent while teaching her what's the correct behavior and don't get frustrated when she reverts to her old habits. It just may be she's learning these “bad” behaviors from another dog in your household or she hasn't fully grasped what the new rules are.

Get to the root of the issues and discover why she may be acting the way she is. For example, if she's suffering from separation anxiety this will likely cause her to bark and get upset by chewing on furniture or other parts of your house. Figure out how to maker feel more at ease while you're away and be patient as you teach her the correct behaviors.
