How often do we read or see video clips about an abandoned litter of kittens or puppies, their Moms nowhere to be seen, and the lives of those critters in true jeopardy unless a wet-nurse/Mom is located? It is depressing but frequent viewed and often tragic.
People who mean well often try to take these puppies and kittens in, feeding them with pet milk, tiny bottles, and nipples. While this can work the little ones really need the warmth and support of a fur-Momma to keep them emotionally and physically sound.
