If you want to keep your puppy from crying during the night, to slumber happily and contentedly, you might want to give him a soft, plush toy to snuggle with. It may not be the same as having Momma in the room but it will go a long way in keeping the puppy calm and you sleep deprived!
Don’t you just want to pick both up and hold them close? Maybe the puppy feels like he is slumbering next to one of his brothers or sisters. That interaction, as babies, the warmth, and care it establishes, is always comforting for a pup.
All we know is if all puppies look as adorable as the bulldog pup above while sleeping there would be very few puppies without pet parents!
