Because this new toy is so different, little Gunnar possibly expects some kind of feedback from it, but the lemon is staying strangely silent. If it is not living then what the heck is it, he wonders?
We love the way this pup jumps about, so amused and curious. And that small bark is to die for!
For an eight-week-old Golden Retriever, the challenges a undisruptive lemon causes can be great. He may never quite understand what it is or why it smells and taste as it does, but we are sure Gunnar will eventually go on to even more mysterious toys.
One day he may even graduate to a half an avocado and be confused all over again!
