If Your Doggie Has Eye Boogers, What Does it Mean?

It must be noted that some breeds are more likely than others to have eye issues. Pugs for instance, with their exposed round eyes, are more likely to have eye mucus, attracting dust and foreign objects more easily. To prevent your Pug from developing eye problems, gently wash her eyes daily, get the buggers out, and if you see her blinking more regularly or pawing at her eye, be sure to keep a close eye on her eye (no pun intended). 😉

She could have anything from an ingrown hair or she could have scratched her eye from playing with a doggie friend. When in doubt it's best to take your Pug doggie to the vet.

Besides Pugs, there are other breeds that have long hair and eyelashes that can also cause problems! To read more please go to Mother Nature Network.

Remember: If you know your dog has an issue be alert and take care of it the right way.
