The pug below is not very mobile because he is fairly old, but he has no trouble in letting his pet-parent know he missed her! This is such a beautiful moment as it's obvious this pug loves his parent very much. Listen as he “sings” to her in welcome!
Again, there is no pain involved, we are assured, it is just his form of communication. Being deaf, he probably does not know his expression of joy is more like a wail — but no one will tell him! Why ruin the moment?
Obviously, we are all missed when we are parted from our pets for any period of time. They show us with the wag of their tails, the jumping up and down every time we walk through the door, and bounce isn’t just for the kibble they know will shortly come but because – oh joy! – Mommy or Daddy are home!
