It’s the classic “Mine! Mine! Mine!” syndrome any child goes through when given a toy and asked to share with others. Most kids can be talked into sharing but it’s a little more difficult with pooches.
They have a mindset that pretty much tells them that what belongs to them is theirs and no one else’s!
Only by permission can another dog – or human – touch their toy!
And here we have a precious pug pup, who is cute in every other way, on the next page who insists on keeping his toy to himself! Mommy and Daddy try to take it from him but there is a definite “NO!” coming from the little guy.
He is not taking any silliness from his pet parents!
