Our pets have quaint little ways of letting us know when they do or do not want to do something. The dos are easy. It usually has something to do with food or playing. They demonstrate their happiness with jumpy movements and the wag of a tail.
When a dog doesn't want something to happen it's not always easy to detect but, with their stillness and long stares, we get the idea. These are usually the times when we have to give them medicine or bath time is close.
Then, there is the ultimate decline. It’s the “No-no! Not gonna do it.” The nail trim. It is the rare pooch that enjoys this activity.
We can honestly say, after making multiple attempts at trimming our dog's nails that we leave it up to the groomer because – for us – it just is not happening.

However, his stubborn doggy has other ideas! Wait for the end because the pooch’s reaction and the sounds he makes are classically sidesplitting!
