Dogs and kids have something in common.
It goes back to those days when we were young and sitting on the back seat of Dad and Mom’s car. Your little brother or sister always had a way of pressing your buttons. More times than not it was the classic: “I’m touching you.” line after you told the sibling to not get near you. You see that little finger sneak out to touch your arm and leg and, quite frankly, you want to break it!
Dogs, while usually wanting to play, can also have their “Don’t get near me.” moments too. It’s usually when they are laying down for a snooze. You touch a paw and they’ll pull away, an indication they simply want to be left alone to sleep. But sometimes their paws are just too irresistible to ignore.
